Tired of cutting the gum out of your childs hair? Try this simple gum removing solution.
My daughter, who recently turned 4 has a real knack for getting gum stuck in her hair. I don’t really know how this is possible, as neither she nor her older brother, are allowed to have gum. Although, I may never solve the mystery of how the gum is obtained, after much research and experimenting I have the ultimate non-hair cutting solution of the century.
Hair Conditioner… Yes, I said conditioner! Not the shampoo, although, you may want to use that after the gum is out.
Once the gum is discovered in the hair, simply apply conditioner to the dry gummy area. Don’t be afraid of it, load it on and leave for at least 15 minutes or until the gum starts to lift from the hair. The conditioner itself breaks down the gum and allows you to remove the gum from the hair with ease.
Note - All hair is different and if needed add a touch of cooking oil to the mix.
